moved the screen to the side of the case.

made the case with corner parts that I can get professionally 3d printed in metal.

The panels I can then get laser cut when I have finalised the design layout.

The little green light at the back of the picture is the new clock controller which is used for AVB.

clock timing of the whole device can be controlled by AVB to keep the field recorder in sync to other AVB devices / whichever device is clock master.

there's still work to be done with changing MCLK from 48khz to 44.1lkhz clock types. MCLK can be changed via I2C from XMOS , the XMOS also has an I2C slave port defined and connected to the STM32H7 so it can control the MCLK settings. 

As soon as I have finished coding AVB auto stream connect for PTP mode to the USB AVB interface board  ( no AVB switch required then ) I will be moving onto a new digi board 6 layer layout.

The fuzz on the screen is an old issue I had for not including OLED screen reset so sometimes when you switch on the device the timing is off and OLED does not initialise properly.

Another small issue to fix in the 6 layer design.
