Arduino, Raspberry Pi and ESP8266 Tardis Building

Building fun Tardis projects as route to learning fabrication and electronics

Similar projects worth following
I am building various Tardis models using different approaches and processes in order to learn and share fabrication, electronics and other geeky things with my local hacker space.

The first Tardis is 3D printed, with arduino and SD card to generate sound effects from the speaker, and to create the LED lighting effect.

Second Tardis is laser cut plywood with ESP8266 (Adafruit Huzzah), 2 line LCD (for debug, date and time display) and 7 Segment LED to go in a window to show the current time. Gets the current timezone and daylight adjusted time from an internet web service so the clock is almost always correct, and of course the LED lamp lighting effect.
