There will be a programmable 12V dimmer for LEDs with an ATmega8 soon. Just created to use some empty space on a PCB.

Small dimmer for 12V devices like cheap LED strips.

I have created this projekt because thier was some empty space an a 10x10cm pcb. The most importen feature is the support of I2C und UART wich other dimmers with NE55 doesn't have and also the price. The max Power is ca. 50W (conductor = 40mil).

  • 1 × ATmega 8
  • 1 × AMS1117-5.0 LDO 1A
  • 1 × potentiometer 10k 2,54mm
  • 1 × IRFZ44N Discrete Semiconductors / Power Transistors and MOSFETs
  • 1 × capacitors 0603 smd for ATmega 8 and AMS1117-5,0

    After the pcbs has arrived and after soldering the components i tested the board with a short blink and adc/pwm program.

    After 5 weeks the pcbs arrived and has been cut out. Makerstudio.cc just send 5 pcbs

    and the writings are not so good as expected. In a few days i will have functional board.
