The food replicator is a nice diy automation and gardening project researching enterprise style food production.
We've been busy filling out forms and documents, looks like our project is going to get some funding :) We're also doing some prototypes for the next iteration of the interface and we're testing our new PCBs (going fine so far)...
10 a.m our success and danger prove crew, once more assemble to create the awesimov interface of what is to become the replicators control panel, to model the diy-replicator. Adding boxes, sensors and actors, as a point and click master, is a problem of the past as our tests indicate. Yet, it still violates the aesthetic requirements for a delicious food machine - but we are on it. Commencing, node.js, jade, less, bootstrap, mongogogo!
We got the boards and a parametric box-model, but we need more data. the Crew has prepared a survey to get more intel on the ideal food replicator. Please help us out, we have a few questions tell me more
found alien technology drifting around in space. picked it up and installed it on our bridge - what could possibly go wrong. captain will be happy (new levels of relaxation possible)... surprise!!!
captains's log: We are in the midst of all about everything. We heard from the plastic people, who want to trade casings for support and future trade relations - an exceptionally nice race. The garage ship has picked up new pcb boards and is now spearheading efforts to deploy a full-blown ecosystems controller-kit.
We have overcome initial Wiring limitations and are running now on c++, with fancy HEX values. First test confirm - LEDs are blinky lights - everything looks promising... we need actuation and breakfast.
we have been captured in the Omega Nebula. Hope it's not to late for a complete tag... well, to be honest I don't think we're done, yet...
btw: we're still waiting for our PCBs... hope they make it in time
here's some more code to digest:
you can find our first, very basic software release on github:
https://github.com/plantsandmachines/early_alpha
more prototypes will follow...
ja we are alive and thriving. Our robot has grown a great deal we have a set of controllers and above all a robotic software that controls our boards and monitors the environment. You can find a little more information on www.plantsandmachines.com. I quess we'll be posting updates here as soon as we have finalized our diy gardening kit.
What happened to this project? Are you guys still alive?
