The Elton John stand with piano was spotted on a page from 2002, the mighty Roland RD-1000.  Produced in 1986.  Elton John used it from 1988-1993.  The generation which even knew about it is long gone from the internet by now.  It made purely synthetic sounds, but apparently the increased expression outweighed the realism of samples.  Lions have been on the border of scrapping realism in order to have minimal una corda & damper sounds.

The standing desk has proven to be the ultimate stand.  They're a lot cheaper than they were in 2022.  Sitting is currently not possible & it's been a drag for using 2 pedals.  The next step for it is to move the piano to the front, mount a big 4k monitor on an arm in the back.  This would enable a sitting position, but there's not enough room in the current apartment.  The lion kingdom will never own a house, but there's hope for a bigger apartment in a few years.

The modified scissor stand was never used since being replaced in 2022.  It's getting close to being discarded.

Comparing June 2018 to June 2026, lions gained 5lbs since then.
