- 30 Kwh per day (1250w continual)
- Fully automated (no need for a pilot)
- Maximum kite fly height 100m ( no permit required)
- as cheap a possible ( final product max 1500EUR)
some simple goals, but there's a long way to go.
step 1 - get sensors and log the flight of a normal kite flown by hand
step 2 - get a servo and fly the kite, as a pilot on a single string from the ground
step 3 - get a ground station and fly the kite manually while generating power
step 4 - get the system to fly autonomously (most difficult i think)
step 5 - get a automated landing/ takeoff system
These a the main step i want to follow.

for step 1 i'll have order some sensor, and i already have an Arduino so i'll use that. much like in this video.
the sensors i have ordered are as follows :
-sd-card slot (data-logging)
-BMP180 temp and pressure sensor (alti sensor)
-GY-521 MPU-6050 module (gyro and accel sensors)
i ordered them from light in the box, so it takes a while for them to get here. but really, what can you say if its not even 15 EUR.
they were send 26th of November.. so they might be here any day now.
i have no extensive experience coding the arduino, but there are good tutorials to follow so i'll get started on that ASAP.
