I made an order from SparkFun and I was expecting my red box on Friday. However, I'm guessing with the holidays and whatnot, UPS had a delay. I took the time to put together a quick and dirty prototype using an arduino duemilanove. I have that setup powered by my 10000 mAh portable battery so it can go in and out of the house.

By the end of this week I hope to have the arduino fio sending data over the xbee modules.
