Scrapvise

A project log for Misc. spur-of-the-moment projects

You know how it is, right? Sometimes you have to do something right then and there!

The #Stickvise is awesome. I want one. What am I saying... I want ALL of them!

Unfortunately, it's currently not in my budget so what am I going to do about it? Well, build one out of stuff I have lying around, of course!

The astute reader will recognize the square aluminium profiles and acrylic from #Computer Numerical Considerations so that's where it gets its name from. I have to say, I feel a bit bad about the name but it just seemed fitting.

If you want to get a free one, enter a project next year for the HAD prize.  They gave away over 100 this year just to people who created a project, not even people that were finalists.

I know, but for me THP is about contributing 'something that matters' and not just entering any project just to score a prize.

What if next year's THP theme is "create something that gets you prizes"? :)

@esot.eric Then I'll have to make a project page for every single #Breadboard Widget ;)

Thanks! The concept of the #Stickvise is just so brilliant and yet simple that it's very easy to build one with whatever one has at hand.
