Production of a printed circuit boards
We made a video how to make a printed circuit boards using diode laser installed on a 3D printer (or you can put on any CNC mill)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q39atHpMnfo

The idea is that you cover copper board with a vinyl film and then remove it with a diode laser.
Thne simply put into Ferrum chloride.
If anyone has an idea hot to make edges more accurate, please let us know.

Nice. I found a way to do it that gets very nice resolution. It involves coating the board in laser printer toner and melting the toner wherever you want traces to be. You then clean away the rest, etch and enjoy. https://hackaday.io/project/7535-cddvd-mechanisms-and-cartesian-thinggies/log/28947-pcb-fab

One trick was mixing the toner powder with alcohol to get a slurry with which to coat the board evenly. It will involve some messing around with speeds etc to make sure the melted parts stick, and with a laser as powerful as yours you may need to be careful not to burn off the plastic completely.

I only did one test before packing the machine away, aiming for more soon.
