DISPENSER V6 for Manual solder Paste application (without compressed air) to PCB for reflow soldering or Hot-Air
Soldering techniques.

Description

The goal to build this Dispenser was using 5V USB & NO COMPRESSED AIR and to avoid using any 3D printed parts, to be reliable and safe for use by hobby guys and schools to use for low volume of PCBs SMD SMT parts soldering with hot air, on hot plate, or in reflow owen. Dispenser V6a was out on Tindie in May 2020 (see hystory and NEW LOOK http://wordpress.mencinger.biz ) – syringe volume of dispenser is 10cc to 12 cc ( industrial syringe is in scope of supply). Joystick controls turns of stepper motor shaft left or right and move piston in syringe in chosen direction and force the paste (or liquid) in syringe to move out through needle.Dispenser has a built in very powerful stepper motor with full metal gear gearbox witch with tremendous pressure forces paste (or liquid) out of the syringe.

What is the smallest needle (mm inner diameter ) that you an use for solder type Type 6 that the stepper motor and its gear can pressure without leakage in the syringer .

This model will not be available no more - I stream into improvements from feedback and I work new version which will be out in 2017...
Tindie store is not closed but all dispensers are sold out and there is nothing to show at the moment. Keep your monitoring:

I'm trying to understand the feed system. How do you refill the syringe? More specifically, how do you retract the plunger? And how far can the plunger be retracted or in other words, how much paste can you actually load... are you able to fully load the syringe, or just half load it, or...?

Do you sell _just the joystick_ separately? It's got the Trackpoint-style nub on it--is it actually an analog pointing stick, or just a 4-way joystick with a cap?
