A Teensy based reverse geocache that will take her to some fun places before opening up to reveal a ring. The goal of the write up is to allow anyone to build their own and to actually document this process for later reference.
  • 1 × Teensy 3.2 Got for free from Paul himself from the Hackaday SuperCon 2015
  • 1 × GPS GP-20U7 Module RF, RFID Hardware / Antennas that I got from sparkfun $20
  • 1 × 2.2" TFT Screen Got for free from Paul himself from the Hackaday SuperCon 2015
  • 1 × Wooden Box I built my own out of some 1/8" walnut veneered plywood
  • 1 × 4" x 4" one way acrylic mirror I got a sample from here

    In the craziness of everything that's been going on and getting this ready by tomorrow (hopefully it goes well), I haven't been doing much in the way of write up. I will start updating the project log with a rough timeline of events and enumerate the challenges that I faced and what I did and why.

    Step 1

    Obtain the parts needed. Look at the parts list and look at what you have in your toolbox. You could also use an arduino or a teensy LC for this project easily if you wanted.

    Step 2

    Assemble the box (I used 120mm in length and 107mm for the pieces - more specs to follow on box layout) and let it glue together with clamps
