Projects based on everyone's favorite low cost Linux Machine - The Raspberry Pi

Description

Google's Chromecast and Amazon's Fire TV Stick are great cheap devices that stream videos extremely well, but are not open source and easily modifiable. Intel's Compute Stick is a fully fledged tiny computer with Linux support, but is extremely costly and does not directly compete with cheaper variants. The Raspberry Pi is an affordable credit card sized, open platform Linux computer with a large community. And then came along the Raspberry Pi Zero. This gum stick sized computer makes for a perfect candidate for a Chromecast or Fire TV Stick variant which fits directly behind a TV. The only thing missing is WiFI capable of streaming video, which was usually added via USB. Since this board only has a Micro USB, it is not as easy to hook a USB WiFi Dongle up to the board, and even if one did, it would occupy the only USB port available to the user. Without access to USB, the only other answer is to use SDIO. And what way to make WiFi better than to add serial over
