This is just a quick update about the development of the project; work on the CORE module is ongoing and it is looking nice so far, check this out:
This is the front panel PCB of the CORE as of now; I had a small issue with the 2.4" TFT display, unfortunately the readily available pre-made modules are a tad big, just enough to not let me fit the design of the front panel in a nice and clean 21 HP (1/4 of a standard Eurorack case width), so I decided to draw my own display module; the bonus is that I didn't put the classic SD slot you find on basically every ILI9341 320x240 TFT display modules, so on the long run I might save some cents.
I'm going to openly release the slightly smaller TFT breakout because it might come in handy.
Other than that, I eventually decided not to go for an almost full thru-hole design and switch back to mostly SMD parts; a TH design would be easier to solder (I thought about a kit version), but the 140 resistors on the board would take a tad too much PCB real estate.
Update done, let's get back to work.

I've been wracking my brain, trying to figure out how to best ration out pins on my new T_3.6 for my own hair-brained attempt to make a "Master Controller". One box to control them all, capable of:
USB Audio IO (for in the studio), MIDI / OSC / DMX control....( HID / xinput...?)
PLUS standalone functionality as both:
looper/synth/drum thing (inspired by the one otemrellik posted up on YouTube)
AND (now don't laugh...)
Ground control station for my big ass hex-rotor drone and its cameras. Complete with redundant TX, RX, telemetry, and independent control the camera gimbal
I knew I had aimed high, likely well beyond any chance of hammering down all the logistics to not only make it work...but have it be solid enough for mission critical use in a "production environment".
Of course, my goals were never to market such a "niche" device, and I knew my chances of finding anybody else working on a similar product that I could just copy were not even remotely likely...
Now, having thoroughly read YOUR mad plans, from the PJRC forums and seen how your quest has evolved though to now....well, I find your dedication and logistical kung-fu to be inspirational. hell...you've even got me thinking that maybe I could use some CV out...I might as well right? HA!
Personally, I don't have a eurorack modular synth monkey on my back...but I'm pretty sure I'll be giving you $$$ when you launch this product. I'd probably even risk a contribution to a kick-starter campaign on this one. You've clearly done the "adulting".

Dear Ninja Mike, thank you very much for the kind words :)
I can see that you thoroughly read the project logs and that you can fully understand its potential, which is one of the main reasons why I try to keep updating the project page whenever I have some advancement.
Also, I don't see why you could not use the MAD for all your needs, I mean the software is still open source so you could definitely add in your ground control station part! I'd really like to see that :)
