Question: Is that a 3 in 1 out hotend? If so, I just had an idea, related to this research I did:https://hackaday.io/project/184896-secsavr-suspense-gd0105/log/208350-e4r-dithering-for-full-colour-3d-prints

The idea is to have white, black and the 3rd input connected to a Y adapter with 3 - 6 inputs. Using 3 inputs, the colours will be RGB and each layer will be one of those 3. 2 layers (e.g. a red layer and a green layer) are needed to get most colours on the spectrum when blended from black to R/G/B to white. The other 3 inputs are CMY and would be needed for better colour reproduction.

My monitor has a pixel size of 90um (0.09mm) and the simulation looks somewhat convincing. 0.4mm nozzles should be able to acheive a layer height of 0.08mm.
