    (ego satisfaction/gratification)

Yes this is just a drawing, goes against my own rule of posting something before it exists

I've had this idea for a long time... since like 2012

Back then I did not know how to program but I was building RC planes so I had some mechanical skills

I have built similar things (other robots) however this one is special.

I had imagined a rock (like those desert crabs in Pirates of the Caribbean)  where the legs/arms fit into slots on the body. You throw this thing into a body of water and it can self orient.

Notice the spoiler/drag things on top, that keeps it hugging the bottom of the creek.

Making an underwater robot is a challenge because of the water proofing...

But the footage (external recording eg. gopro) would be something to see especially in clear water with rocks.

The turbine thing is the other gimmic, it has a buoy it can release/drag behind it to charge itself again another complicated thing.

Then it communicates by a nearby bank antenna eg. with a solar pannel to remote like GSM or satellite.

It would surface to do this.

It will be a while till I work on this project but yeah... if I achieve my dreams (a ranch somewhere) it will be on my list. Time and money is the name of the game.
