Hello everyone, my name is Phathwa, a Johannesburg-based Maker. This topic is a Solar Powered Iot Weather Station build.  The device is based on the Arduino Uno Microcontroller and the Data is visualised on the ThingBoard IoT platform.

This weather station has the following sensors:

(1) Wind Direction.

(2) Wind Speed.

(3) Temperature and Humidity.

Other system features consist of the following:

(1) GPRS/GSM Communication Module.

(2) Solar Panel.

(3) x3 Lipo Batteries.

(4) Neo-Pixel LED Status Indicator.

(5) 3D Printed Enclosure.

Data from the device can be visualised on the Thingsbord. The STL Files can be found [here] and the enclosure was manufactured by Taito’s 3D Printing Services.
