NixieWell, I just changed the project name from "Sputtering" to "Semiconductors @ Home"
I realized I was trying to hide from laughs/comparisons with Sam Zeloof, or worst, someone thinking I am somehow trying to "race" him into the first chip made at home.
Well, I am not.
I will get there when I get there, so, please, enjoy the ride in my low tech boat.

In theory, you can sputter other things, like insulators and such (using RF instead of DC) we will see ^^

Isn't sputtering reserved for the metallizing process? Does this mean you have some of other steps worked out? This project just went from "relevant to my interest" to "this is my interest!" ;)
