Antennenwald, German for "antenna forrest". Stuttgart hackerspace shackspace has several antennas for receiving several different satellite signals mounted on its rooftop. Precisely speaking, they receive signals of research satellites, cubesats, weather satellites and the International Space Station (ISS).

With the currently planted Antennenwald (antenna forest) we want everyone who’s interested to see how easy it is to receive satellite signals, which satellites are transmitting and how you can build your own antenna. But the current position is not optimal, so we need to move it to a higher placeon the rooftoop. For this, we are now working on the better construction frame, wiring it to the space and also securing it against thunderstrikes.

So you all could help and we will share our experience with constructing a mobile frame that can be moved from the rooftop also to the next hackercamp easily! Help us "grow" our AntennenWald
