The collector is designed to gather different types of data in the environment. It is built with four Raspberry Pi computers and each one is designated a different task. All will be included in a robot chassis. You could substitute any Pi for each role. The data collected includes GPS tracking, Weather conditions and Motion Detection.
Replicator is designed to capture images and video . The data will be saved to One Drive. The hardware is the Raspberry Pi Zero W and camera. The software is Deep learning object detection with OpenCV.
Forecaster is designed to track current weather conditions at the current location for the Collector. The hardware is a Sensor Tag and a Raspberry Pi 3. Software includes Telegraph (Times -Series Data Collector) and Grafana. I’m also going to include Darksky forecast for the small area that I will be testing.
Tracker is designed to trace the route of the Collector with a GPS Tracking device that can stream its coordinates to a near real-time map view. The hardware is a Raspberry Pi 1 with Microstacknode GPS addon board. The coordinates are streamed to Initial State and displayed in real time on a map.
