DELL Monitor Case Upgrade

So, the case & stand on one of my DELL monitors from '02 finally broke, so a custom one seems to be the next best thing.

Description

After the stand broke on a really old monitor I have broke, it seems like just another cool project to start for me. When finished, I'm hoping it will look really cool, but it may just look like crap. View the logs for in depth status reports.

Now that the thing is apart, I (very) crudely dimensioned it:

Seems like DELL decided to make the dimensions rather straightforward.

After taking the monitor apart (which was actually pretty easy due to DELL's easily servicable design), I noticed how simple it really was. The "main internals" consisted of a controller board simply bolted to the back of the display itself. The bezel buttons were a nice neat board, and so was the USB hub. As of now, it seems like project will go really smooth.
