Pocket BOOMbox

Description

It is a small pocket sized electronic device. It is a two in one product. It contain a music player (boombox) and an emergency LED light system. The music player is capable of playing .wav files from the SD card. The ATtiny85 AVR micro-controller is used in this music player. It done the music decoding job. Then the signal is amplified by using an amplifier IC and given to small speakers. All the systems are powered by a small inbuilt Li-ion cell. The whole setup is enclosed in a small cover. Details

The first image indicate the finished music player. In the frond side there are two speakers and one small push switch to move to the next song and one small SMD preset resistor for controlling the music volume. In the bottom side there is the SD card port, headphone port and a mini USB port for charging the in-built battery(Li-ion cell). In the top white top side there is 3 LEDs Which are used to work as an emergency light system. The music player and the light are controlled by using the SMD slide switch which is placed at the side.

The ATtiny 85 is the brain of the circuit it decode the files from the SD card and it generate the audio. The power amplifier LM386 drive the speakers.
