Due to inaccuracies present within already existing methods of analyzing the speed of a rowing shell, this project aims to create a more accurate version of a device similar to the NK Speedcoach, yet using 3 different methods of movement analysis to calculate the speed. This device, which would just be mounted to the rigger of any boat, would provide data based on an onboard accelerometer, GPS, and Impeller. In addition, the goal is to keep it less than 100$ in production, so it can be easily replicated and used widespread.
