First of all, I apologize for not working on this, I got distracted by other projects.
I did some research and have discovered the ch341a, which is a cheap programmer, that combined with a clip can be used for solderless dumping of an spi flash chip. Sadly, I by mistake purchased and used one without the required 1.8v adapter needed for the flash included on the alexa dash wand, I suspect I fried the chip.
I was wondering if someone else could try the dumping process and share the file with the community, I could help that person through it, but I do not feel like going through the process of ordering the new parts right now.
Thank you for reading, and again, sorry for the delay and lack of work.

I have a box of unopened wands happy to donate extras to the cause if it will help.

Hi there,
I do have a Dash wand sitting around and I'd be happy to try a firmware dump. Will any ch341a w/ 1.8v supply off eBay do the trick?
Feel free to DM me with any details I mightt need to be aware of.
Regards.
