A project log for New PCB For Calculator Watch

I like to call this my smart watch, as it can calculate numbers and show the time

The first version was doomed from the beginning, since I had no diodes on the keys. I also swapped the USB micro socket with a JST-SH socket and made a small adapter board instead. Let's see how far I get this time.

I once found a Watch on CrowdSupply https://github.com/joeycastillo/Sensor-Watch and they had a USB-Mirco PCB Footprint which is a pretty cool idea. Only problem is that the PCB then needs to be very thin, like below 1mm. But maybe thats something you want to use to save the connector. I can send you a footprint for that. (btw. we met in xhain ;) )

was thinking about Joey's watch as well - I even backed the crowd supply thing back then and have it in a pink F91WC :) I also designed a JST-SH to USB-C adapter board, that makes me feel dirty :D - I'll steel plenty from Joey's code probably..

We need more people who are versed in electronics at xHain - good to know!

I am not there on a regular basis but feel free to contact me whenever you need help or something. I am also in that xchat but it is kind of annoying so I am not really checking it often.
