I've been trying to push forward with the next prototype, but there is always a lot to do with the design of a new part.

This is a single module that contains the Deck Dock, a new backup battery that is also a travel charger, a 4 port USB hub, an NVME drive, and a little extra space for a keyboard passthru port and cable manglement. 

There are several dumb things I am doing that make this prototype a new challenge.

• Despite the original purpose being a single module with CLEAN LINES, I want the USB hub to feature on an accent color. Sure, I could use paint. That's probably really the best solution. But I could also try to do something completely new, and secure the piece with interlocking chamfers.

• My original backup battery (BASEUS 65w, 20,000mAH) is too large for this form factor. I've tried a lot of things, and I just can't integrate it until I make the entire cyberdock deeper. So I did some research on smaller power banks, and found one that would fit, and works as a portable charger. That's some great utility!

Obviously the charger needs to be removable, so I'm building it into a drawer that will allow me to socket it into a fixed plug, or pull it out. The drawer even has room for cable storage, which is something this has sorely needed.

Wow, that's awfully dense, and I haven't figured out the cable management for the deck dock yet, but everything else is running through the curve at the front of the chassis. Yay! no wasted space.
