RFET - First Log Entry

A project log for RFET - Resistance Field Effect Transistor

A new transistor type, the RFET requires no semiconductor material and is 3D printable. It is my creation shared with you.

Hello folks.  I originated the RFET because I wanted to 3D print transistors for the purpose of 3D printing electro-mechanical systems.  Since then I have designed and 3D printed some test structures with very limited success.  It is also possible to make chip-scale RFETs, circuit board scale RFETs, and large RFETs for power systems.  My personal focus, however is the 3D printed RFETs.

At this point I would like to characterize the RFET including the VI curves with emphasis on the low and negative voltage regions.  The device is pointless without proper characterization, and a powerful circuit element once characterized,  There are some amazing things possible in the negative regions including small signal AC superconducting and negative resistors, amazing though that may sound.  I call it "active superconducting".

There is so much to tell and that is just scratching the surface.  this is not just a novel circuit.  It is an entire new category of transistor, also called a new transistor type.  There are also many limitations and design issues which must be identified, investigated, and explored.  So much to do.  I am interested in help from others.
