what's next: primary school in Austria - workshop in May

A project log for 20€ DIY-Eyetracker for school projects

Build an inexpensive eyetracker with primary school students - and control real world robots with block-based coding!

On May 23rd I will be visiting a primary school in Austria, and we will build several eyetrackers with 3rd grade students. These will be simple version ones, though, and we plan to build and do a first coding within 60minutes. The school is very much focussing on topics of medical support and "medical engineering", students are using 3d-printer and even laser cutter with assistance of their teachers.

I will publish some photos and maybe a short video here... A first short demo was successful in a secondary school in Berlin. But now I don't have an endoscopic camera left, so all images are taken by the "advanced" version of the eyetracker.

Judging by the announcement, it was an exciting project.  Gaining hands-on experience with engineering and medical technology is a valuable experience for young students. I wouldn't mind participating in creation of eyetrackers and their coding. I use 3D printer quite often and conduct various experiments. Sometimes I get so excited about it that I don't have time to do my assignment in other subjects. I had to find a solution so that my passion for 3D printers would not contribute to the deterioration of my grades. I have found a useful site https://assignmentbro.com/ca/do-my-assignment and am doing quite well with my work. I'm able to continue working on my 3D projects without worrying about the college.
