Finally I received my LaunchPad and managed to find an operational Mini USB cable since my last one appeared to be damaged (surprisingly, it was not easy, they are pretty much rare nowadays).

Now I could confirm that the pinout I posted earlier is correct. I was able to upload the Blink sketch from Energia IDE as you can see on the attached GIF. The embedded LED is connected to P2.1 (which is pin 9 in Energia IDE).
