Oh man... that beautiful purple package. Living in Canada is generally wonderful - except when you want to get things shipped cheaply and quickly you're out of luck. It takes about a month to get PCBs from OSHpark to my front door, but I don't mind since it's so cheap and high quality!
I test fit the two different types of LCD screens that I made footprints for - they fit!
I soldered up the board along with the LCD on the right, since it's nicer and doesn't need a contrast adjustment.
