Caption CERN Contest Week 8

A contest log for Caption CERN Contest

Caption CERN, win a prize!

adam-fabioAdam Fabio 03/26/2015 at 03:2884 Comments

Week 8: 3/25/2015 - 9pm PDT 4/1/2015

Caption, Caption, who's got the winning Caption?

What do you think is going on in this image from CERN's archives?

Link to the original CERN image.

Some scientists and engineers at CERN appreciate their equipment more than others. This CERN staffer really seems to appreciate this particular rack of equipment. What could make it so special?

Add your humorous caption as a comment to this project log. Make sure you're commenting on this project log, not on the project itself.

As always, if you actually have information about the image or the people in it, let CERN know on the original image discussion page.

Good Luck!

It's not that Bob didn't love QRTy1000. He just wasn't  "in love" with "her". After all, he had needs (chief amongst which was being able to have "relations" without getting electrocuted!). Still, he was a gentleman, if nothing else, and needed to let the old girl down easy.

Here we have the only known picture of Dr. Rogers with his signifigant other. Unfortunatly they would not live to see a day when marriage between man and machine was recognized.

They didn't pay Dr Frizenheimersteinenstumph $250,000 dollars a year just to thump the equipment, they paid him $250,000 dollars a year to know precicely *where* to thump the equipment.
