Arduino BASIC Computer Shield

A shield which turns an Arduino UNO into a BASIC computer. An ATmega 1284P runs TinyBASIC and reads PS/2 keyboard input while the Arduino UNO generates composite video.

Nice job on the BASIC computer board. I am interested in using it for some monitoring and control projects. I can't tell from the circuit, but does it have the ability to communicate via RS232 ? Many instruments still have serial ports.

Hi Doug,

I send them off to be manufactured by a seller on eBay who owns a mill and creates the PCBs for a very reasonable rate. The seller optimised my design before they manufactured it which is why is looks slightly different from my Fritzing design. They can be found here:
