50cc Chinese Bikes

When it doesn't, break out the tools and some solid diagnostic theory... but wait, it's a CHINESE-built bike. That means there's at least one curve-ball in the electrical system.
Granted, it was a second-hand bike, but Laika has a random two-pin connector that I cannot seem to chase down the other end of without tearing the whole damned bike apart. It's not connected to anything, and I don't see anything in the immediate area that it can connect to.
Maybe when I need to figure it out, I will. At the moment, I'm hunting for my feeler gauges to set valve lash. 2900 (km/mi?.. who knows?) on the clock roughly, and it's LOOOOOSE.

Forethought is not always my strongest attribute.
Adjusted the valvetrain, put the bike back together enough to start...
