LOL...I am NOT from the techie side..I'm strictly end-user, but I love the device and used it when I first got it..............but,as you said, its a paperweight in its current form. Was hoping someone out there did stuff like this.............

Absolutely! I doubt anyone has _ever_ done it, so no one will be able to walk you through it. Break it open and give it a shot! It's not like it's useful in its current form.
