I'm trying to buy or lease a station of satellite via transmission, who want to participate let me know is a big business. (Putting new equipment and earn millions of dollars) within the law.
I get your point. It could get noisier if everyone posted up a new project. If there are lots of users to vote up and down the right stuff I think it would be less of an issue. It would be nice if hackaday had trending project list rather then most skulls, as all the top projects are years old. It's like the apple apps and android play store, the first apps get the most downloads/views.
Also what is the stack really for, announcements? News? Anything?
I've suggested adding a trending view for projects. You can sort the projects by 'newest' on the all projects page.
You can see trending projects on the hackaday.com home page, and we retweet projects on @hackadayio twitter.
The .Stack can be used to post anything. However, it was originally added to give a discussion place that is not linked to a specific person or project.

Nice project, but I hope stack will not become the announcement channel for new projects, there are thousands of them around.
