Changes to Hackaday.io
Patrick Van Oosterwijck wrote 08/29/2016 at 22:30 • 0 pointsI'm not sure if there is a place for this already, but a couple of things that I think should really be changed on Hackaday.io:
- Let people select BOTH hardware and software when they create a project. It's silly on a site where probably >50% of the projects involve both.
- It seems I can paste a picture into the editor when I'm writing a project log. But the picture won't actually show up in the resulting log. Either don't allow pasting and make people use the button to insert a picture (which means you have to first actually make a file out of it, annoying sometimes), or make them show up.

You can actually add the software tag manually afterwards or edit it. Most of my project are both software and hardware, but I select hardware.
