Maximum cities or metropolitan residential areas people still have to face the drawback of a high voltage earthing issue, isolation problems. For common person they are still not able to test these problems by any means even if they want to, then they have to buy very expensive hardware usually out of range which has to use as per some precautions. We have to take care of calibration properly by using these kinds of hardware which might lead to voltage drop or power we are using with much different power standards with specified voltage, current as well as the current flow will be available.

                                              

Well, Taking care about all the power standards and the issues NCD has introduced a whole new current monitoring hardware which shares the accurate real-time data regarding current usage in different automation areas with high industrial standards with great calibration parameter which set up to work in any kind of rigid conditions. Talking about the hardware specifications, Starting with the power it uses only uses 2 AA power cell with a 10-year battery life depending upon the environmental conditions and according to data transmission interval. It has an operational lifetime of 500,000 wireless transmissions with an option of external power ON the device. The second and the most advanced feature is that it uses wireless mesh module easy to connect with sensors to create the wireless sensor network which is already discussed back in the previous blog, These wireless modules have the capability to send the sensor data boasting up to 28 miles ranges using a 900MHz or 1 Mile using 2.4GHz with Mesh topology wireless network architecture. The mainframe in between this is an Analog to digital converter which works with the split-core sensor which samples the current RMS value during the receiving the real-time data from the wires using AC current. It uses the special timer features which make the sensors sleep in between which minimizes the power consumption.

The smart current sensors detect the change in current as per the user-defined time intervals for the detection. These real-time detection defined by user compares with the default value and share the information as per the function created by the user to display the data through PC, Laptops, Microcontrollers like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Particle, Pycom etc. With the advanced open source protocol system, the real-time data can easily be sent to online server database like AWS - Amazon, Azure, Firebase, IBM Watson etc.where these real-time data can be stored to monitor the current, power voltage different electrical AC parameters. If the comparison with the default value set up by users is high then we can also send the alert notifications by different protocols like MQTT, Twilio, Live streaming applications etc.
