RC Servo Connector Manufacturer?
Bharbour wrote 10/31/2019 at 15:30 • 0 pointsDoes anybody know the manufacturer and series for the connectors used on servos and batteries in the older Radio Control systems like JR and Futaba? They look like 0.100" rectangular connectors, but they have a bevel on two of the edges for keying. Thanks

The bevel surface is short and shallow enough that I was able to put the bevels on some Molex connectors without breaking through the shell. Not the best solution, but a serviceable one.

If you’re looking for small to medium quantities try HansenHobbies.com. They stock connectors for servos including JR and Futaba styles. They also stock connectors for many of the small batteries used in RC airplanes, helicopters and drones. I find them to be a reliable source.

I hate RC servo connectors I always replace them with Molex ones.

I like Molex as well, but that is not a good option for what I am doing. I am laying out a PCB that will have a bunch of the connectors to mate with a receiver to make an adapter to the JST connectors. I could cut up the receiver case to remove the keys, but I don't want to do that.
