raspberry pi Zero lapdock

This project was created on 05/26/2016 and last updated 21 天前.

Description

been wanting to use my lapdock as a Thin Client laptop to connect to my server but always hated having a pi running off the phone connectors with cables.

So i ripped her open, pulled out each connector and reorganized

This lapdock now has 2 microusbs (one with just power pins, other with data pins as well for mouse and keyboard to hook up to the pi) and a Mini HDMI

The worst part is how far the HDMI cable comes down and keeps the whole lapdock from actually sitting flat - worse even while getting frustrated and trying to fold the cable down - i broke it

So now i have a nice concept sitting waiting for my new micro hdmi to mini hdmi adapter to come from shenzhen sometimes mid next month.

Components

  • 1 × Motorola Lapdock 2 Evaluation, Demonstration Kits, Boards and Modules / Evaluation Kits, Boards and Modules

folded the HDMI cable and pulled all the cables off the connector, V2 of this will have the hdmi cable tucked up in and hopefully much cleaner and a lil less broken
