Just getting this project started. It will be a fully autonomous walking robot. The plan is to use a raspberry pi to handle vision processing and navigation. Servo tasks are offloaded to an add fruit servo driver.
A 10dof IMU will allow for balancing and orientation checks. This will be processed using some form of Arduino based board.
Also connected to the Arduino board will be an Ultrasonic sensor to handle distance measurement.
The code will be a mixture of preexisting code and open source systems. Eventually, I will implement ROS code.
