05/09/2019 at 23:54 • 0 comments- I reworked and changed my design a bit for the final submission.
- A part of the support holding the head collapsed.
- I improvised and attach the servo to rotate the head, onto a base in the box.
- The head is the attach onto the base, which is supported by the servo underneath it to rotate.
- After reworking, when a user is looking at the head from a certain direction, the face is then tracked, and the head will turn towards another direction to avoid direct contact (antisocial).
- When a user gets too close to the head, under 20 cm, the head will jerk in a 15 degree angle to avoid contact.
- A screaming sound will play when a user gets closer than 20 cm.

- I have moved on the final fabrication stage of my head model.
- I added putty fill-a to cover up the gaps in my model.
- I tested my installation to make sure it works well for submission.

- I added the stand and mechanism into the head to test it.
- I prepared for the beta test.
- But the whole stand collapsed.

- I tried adjusting the position of the servos to make sure that they don't interfere with other wires which may affect the servos' rotations.

- I tested the coding with my arduino to make sure that it works properly.
- I planned on the design of the servo holders and and the overall stand of the head.

- I tested more servos and tried to think of other things that I can do using the servos which will benefit my head project.

- I tried combining the parts using the rotary tool as well as glueing them together.

- I started printing out a few pieces of the overall head and try to piece it together.

- I worked on the coding aspect of my project as well as trying to work on the servos.
