A lot of projects that we undertake at Makespace and Open Source Creativity are experiments at best -- some of which turn into ongoing initiatives, and some of which stop at the very beginning prototyping stages. Regardless of result, we believe that the "doing and making of the project itself" is more important than whether the project is a success or not, since it sparks that initial interest in tinkering, that eventually blooms into a passion for innovating and breaking down barriers to one's own limitations.
