The smaller one (Child) as internal battery holder compartment.

Both pieces of Betula wood have in the bottom two Neodymium magnets that once placed near by each other, they attract and close de circuit.

Optionally, Mother has a "hidden" connector inside a wood knot to plug a USB cable that lights up the Led from external 5 Vdc.
