The idea of playing beer pong on a party is always a good one, but the idea to improve this by using object detection and LEDS is the best one. This night we are using some standard stuff I had left of other projects to create this beer pong wonder!

The design is fairly simple, the trct5000 is an IR diode/phototransistor combination. This component can detect light changes and objects in this matter. the Arduino reads the analog pins and then powers the LEDs. This gives a cool light effect.

The total cost price is currently about 2 dollars (when used Chinese copies), I am thinking to redesign it to be under one dollar. What do you think about this project ,and any cool ideas whit this? Pls, write in the comments.
