I used one of the existing projects at Cypress. The "CE221121 - PSoC 6 MCU SPI Slave" project. This example demonstrates the use of PSoC® 6 MCU Serial Communication Block (SCB) Component in SPI slave mode. I picked it since the next phase of this project is too interface the PSoC 6 to a MAX14830. The MAX14830 is an advanced quad universal asynchronous receiver-transmitter (UART). I need to interface using the preferred interface, SPI.
Getting to this point has been brutally fun... Sharp learning curve for me. Been two weeks just familiarizing myself with the environment. What is so cool is, I am not a hardware engineer, but I am building designs with an FPGA. Starting to walk now... Been crawling...
