This adaptive drawing device is a simple 3D printed model which helps students with cerebral palsy draw and paint. It has already been tested by many students who have cerebral palsy, and helps them be more independent in their art classes, and be able to express themselves more easily with both wet and dry media. It was created in in conjunction and collaboration with a fellow art teacher, Ms. Laura Roth, and her student, Sara, who has spastic cerebral palsy. It was modeled from measurements from her therapists, a cast of her hand (see the above background photo). We went through many prototypes, and the final version was created using Morphi http://morphiapp.com and printed in one piece using Colorfabb NexGen Flex https://ngen-flex.colorfabb.com and printed on my Ultimaker 3 3D printer
