1Step 1
Cut a suitable size of stripboard.
-
2Step 2
Cable-tie the LED string to the wheel chair's frame, and duct-tape the controller and power bank somewhere handy.
-
3Step 3
Tweak the design to give whatever patterns you like!
-
4Step 4
Solder on the pin headers so that they mate with the FPGA board's outputs
-
5Step 5
Solder on the current limiting resistors close to the pin headers.
-
6Step 6
Use the left over wire from the resistor legs to make jumpers, used to join the tracks together, combining currents.
-
7Step 7
Attach the screw header to the center of the stripboard.
-
8Step 8
Cut the strips under the resistors, and all strips between the legs of the screw terminal block.
-
9Step 9
Check that the strips with a multimeter to ensure are really cut where they should be. Also ensure that their is no continuity between contacts on the screw terminals.
-
10Step 10
Cable-tie the LED string to the wheel chair's frame, and duct-tape the controller and power bank somewhere handy.
