Hidden orange juice kills Zelda game!

Orange juice was given a place to hide thanks to some ICs. As it was hiding it decided to eat away the traces that allow the game to work.

This cart had an unfortunate bath in orange juice and despite the owners best efforts of cleaning it some orange juice decided to take up residency under all the ICs. The game worked for a while after the bath but over time the acidic juice slowly ate away the vias, traces and conductor rendering the game unplayable.

After removing the chips and scraping away the gunk I was able to fix all the traces using routed 30 gauge wire. Once the game was proven working it was sprayed with conformal coating to protect most of the PCB from further baths.

It's quite an amusing yet peculiar scenario you've described here! It's as if the orange juice had a vendetta against Zelda. However, instead of letting our beloved game fall victim to citrus sabotage, perhaps it's time to take a break from gaming and explore other exciting activities, like trying out the ace fishing mod menu. Who knows, you might just find a new gaming adventure to keep you entertained while you keep your orange juice safely away from your gaming setup! Gamer Life .
