Here I shall break down the tasks I hope to achieve and keep record of when they are completed:

Stage 1

  • Create suitable Raspberry Pi Mount in Spider's core [In Progress]
  • Attach Spider to Totem X4 control board, controlling the spider
  • Create python/C# library to send commands to X4
  • Create webserver to present control interface.

Stage 2

  • Add Raspberry Pi Camera
  • Add Camera window to Control interface (overlay controls?)
  • Explore further sensor integration with Pi GPIO pins.
  • Explore use of additional microcontroller slaves for further devices.

Stage 3

  • Research Object recognition using the Pi Camera
  • Research voice control
