I took a non-working Mac Classic and fitted it with a 486 SBC, and lithium battery, and color LCD.

It has built in speakers, and can run FreeDOS with vMac on top for the Hackintosh effect.

Also try OpenGEM, it provides very early-Macintosh-like effect.
