Description

An "impossible" tensegrity end-table made using TIG welded laser-cut and tubular steels, 1/16" 7x7 aircraft cable, and a tempered glass tabletop. Features a hidden oil slosh damper to reduce vibration. Powder-coat bronze paint finish. Designed in SOLIDWORKS.

An excessively verbose write-up (including plans and step-by-step assembly) is attached below, originally created as submission for a national welding contest.
